This is a very inspiring film series that not only addresses environmental concerns, but also social concerns. You won't be sorry you went! Last year we left the event really wanting to make a change for the better in our community, country and worldwide. It's that kind of inspiring!

Festival Details:
Regular tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door; VIP package is $30. Tickets can be purchased at River Alliance, B-Side Records, Frugal Muse, Strictly Discs, Star Liquor, MadCity Music, Sugar Shack and the Barrymore. Charge by phone at (608) 241-8633. Order online at www.barrymorelive.com.

NEW this year!
Put on your best fleece and walk the Green Carpet. Don't miss the "celebrity" and fashion interviews!

Get creative at our Selfie Station. Channel your inner star, pick from silly props, and have fun with your friends at our version of a social media photo booth.

Enjoy a VIP Pre-Party starting at 5:30pm (instead of a post-party like we've done in previous years). VIP tickets are $30 and include a drink ticket, Roman Candle pizza, and a one-year River Alliance membership.

Get inspired by the youth filmmakers from Wisconsin. These teens created films about mining, climate change, and our lakes and rivers in Dane County.

Check out our website for the full film line-up. We hope that our program and fun additions to the festival will inspire you to help us spread the word. This week, if you Tweet using #WildScenicWI or share this Facebook post you'll automatically be entered to win a pair of tickets.

We hope to see you at the festival! More info.

6th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival

Hi Friends,

I'm taking a quick minute to invite you to join us, John, Elizabeth and I, with Fontana Sports Specialties, for a special night. We, Fontana Sports, have sponsored this annual  film fest for years because we feel it's important to bring this event to Madison. Each year the attendance is good and the event receives lots of positive spin off conversations and actions as a result of the program.

There are 14  short films, the winners of international film contests. Some will be animations, others will take you all over the world. It's informative, exciting, beautiful photography, and thought provoking! Much will be informative of ways we can make a difference just by being aware when the subjects of climate, locations, and scientific topics arise. Please join us.

At a time when money is short, sales soft, and seasons unpredictable, John and I still choose to spend $1,000.00 to bring this to our community. Together, we must be aware, active, and this is our way to help inform and support these efforts. ALL Proceeds go to River Alliance of Wisconsin. A ticket can be purchased at either Fontana Sports, the Barrymore Theatre, or Frugal Muse Bookstore.

Thank you, and I hope you can join us. It’s a special night during the intermission there is beer, wine or soda available, as well as popcorn, while we meet and catch up, as well as discuss the films.

There will be a drawing for a $50.00 Fontana Sports Specialties Gift Card during intermission. Good luck to all who attend
